Wouldn’t it be great if somebody showed you the basics of maintaining your Pontiac cars near Springfield? Well, this story isn’t about Pontiac cars specifically or Springfield specifically, but it could happen here, too.
A local ministry in James River, Missouri is taking the initiative to show young women, single moms and widows how to maintain their vehicles. The first opportunity to take advantage of this was this past Saturday, but I’m sure there will be many more because it was so successful. In addition to showing them how to maintain their cars, they also offered a free oil change and other free services.
Several good-natured mechanics joined In Action ministries to accomplish this task. The event took place at the Valvoline Express Care on James River Road. The facility donates its space twice a year for this ministry and outreach.
How great is this story? Articles like this make me feel much better about the world in which we live. Hopefully, this spirit of charity and helpfulness spreads to nearby states and women in need in Philadelphia and beyond can take advantage of these services for their Pontiac cars and other brands and models.
